Welcome to the website of the Musikkapelle Röthenbach from the Allgäu/Germany. We are happy to welcome any international visitor on our website.
The Musikkapelle is a traditional bavarian wind band and was founded in the year 1840. Its more than 60 members are performing at many different occasions during the year, such as music festivals, marching parades or church services.
In 2011 the band celebrated their 170 years jubilee and was host of the 'Bezirksmusikfest', which is a great get-togteher of 47 wind bands of the Allgäu. If you are interessted, please see the separate website www.bezirksmusikfest2011.de for photos and reviews.
